The Denver Gem and Mineral Show is staged by members of the eight mineral, lapidary and fossil clubs of the Greater Denver Area Gem and Mineral Council, a non-profit organization. Our eight member clubs are:

The Greater Denver Area Gem and Mineral Council sponsors the Denver Gem and Mineral Show and directs the disbursements of the show proceeds as grants of gifts of money for the advancement of the arts and sciences within the field of the earth sciences. The 2013 Council officers are:
